Unlearn Who You Had To Be To Survive

????

Support for high-performing women who are tired of being capable at the cost of themselves.

You didn't get here by accident.

You learned how to be the reliable one.

Life taught you to anticipate unspoken needs.

People looked to you for answers, support, and guidance.

You became known for handling things before they fell apart.

That version of you was born out of necessity, and it helped you build the life you wanted.

But maintaining that version of yourself left you constantly negotiating between what others needed you to be for them,

And who you needed to be for yourself.

Pensive Woman Thinking

Your needs, peace, and wellness are often the collateral for success.

That doesn’t mean there’s something wrong with you.

It means you’re operating from patterns that once helped you survive, achieve, lead, and build.

But those patterns—left unexamined—keep you moving past your own limits until overwhelm, burnout, resentment, and disconnection become your normal.

The work of reconnecting to YOU begins by getting curious about the roles, expectations, and identities you’ve learned to hold—

And deciding what still fits the life you want to build now.

Hey, I'm Erika!

I’m a Licensed Mental Health Therapist and Self-Leadership Coach helping high-performing women understand what has been shaping their choices, relationships, and sense of self.

I believe identity is learned through what life, family, culture, responsibility, and survival have required from us.  There comes a point in a woman's life where she begins to "Who Am I... REALLY"?

Sometimes the moment comes after a major life transition.

Other times it arrives quietly, in the stillness of her mind when she realizes her life no longer feels aligned.

My work helps women examine their identity with curiosity and care, so they can stop moving through life based on what shaped them, and start living and leading in ways that reflect their values, capacity, who they're becoming, and the impact they want to make in the world.

“It was hard work. I was unwilling to let go of some stuff as a matter of principle. Erika helped me be curious about how those principles played a part in me feeling stuck. Erika helped me replace that old stuff with values that I hadn’t been able to articulate before. I am discovering what it means to be authentically me… I didn't know I wasn’t being that before.”

“I felt like I had to argue my way into people's acceptance. That’s gone… Like, I am not mentally preparing an argument to make people accept me. I didn’t know I could feel this free - I have more space to just be who I am.”
